The Wedding Singer - Audition Information
Welcome to the audition info page for CAOS Musical Production's upcoming show The Wedding Singer The Musical. Whether you're a seasoned performer or new to the stage, we’re thrilled you’re considering being part of this 80s feel-good production.
Below you'll find everything you need to know about the audition process, key dates, roles available, and how to get involved.

Audition Requirements:
Minimum age for audition is 16 Years Old.
Audition & Rehearsal Dates
Singing Prep Night: Opportunity to sing with the MD to prep for auditions between 23rd June 19:30-22:00 at the Bassil Shipman which is opposite the Newell Centre. Message CAOS if you'd like to book a slot and haven't already filled out the sheet at launch.
Auditions: Auditions will take place between 19:00-10:00 on the 26th June 2026 at Newell Centre, Tozer Way, Chichester PO19 7LG. You can find all the audition material in the audition pack in the below button.
New members auditions will also take place on this evening.
Audition Form Deadline: All auditionees must complete the audition form by 22:00 on 24 June 2026.
Anyone who would like to audition but is unable to attend on the 26th June should submit a video audition by 19:00 on 25th June, please attach to the audition form below or WeTransfer/Onedrive/GDrive/Dropbox and send a link to hello@caosmusicalproductions.co.uk. Using the material in the audition pack please send three separate videos, one singing, one dancing and the final performing the scene (with someone else reading in the other parts).
Rehearsal Days & Timings:
We rehearse on Tuesday's & Friday's 19:30-22:00
Tuesday: Bassil Shipman Centre
Fridays: Newell Centre
Both venues share the same car park at Tozer Way, Chichester PO19 7LG
Sunday rehearsals on 4th & 11th October 11am - 3pm
A full schedule will be released after auditions which will include all call times, locations and dates.
Occasional venue changes may occur.
Dance Audition
All auditionees are required to partake in a dance audition, even if dance isn't your stronest skill, the choreographer wants to see your level!
Audition Schedule 6:30-10pm 26th June
New Members audition: Please prepare a verse and chorus of an musical theatre song, there will be a bluetooth speaker for you to connect to
Please see below call times for auditions. If you see any discrepancies or have any concerns, please contact CAOS or the creative team as soon as possible. You should find your name next to a dance group and the role you selected on your audition form. Please arrive 5 minutes before your time slot, in comfortable clothes for dance, and already warmed up!

Please find the link to CAOS' New Member Welcome Pack below. This document provides essential information on membership fees, show fees, conduct expectations, and general policies. All auditioning members are required to review these policies and confirm their agreement by selecting the designated checkbox in the audition form.
New members are required to perform a new members audition before auditioning for a CAOS show, the new members auditions will take place just before the show audtions.
The CAOS Membership Fee will be due by the 1st September. The Show fee will be due by 10th October.
