CAOS Musical Productions is an amateur Musical Theatre society based in Chichester, West Sussex.

CAOS Musical Productions, originally known as Chichester Amateur Operatic Society, was founded January 1910 by the lay vicars of Chichester Cathedral and local businessmen. Our first performance was Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘The Pirates of Penzance’ in May 1911 at the Corn Exchange.

To reflect our diverse repertoire, we rebranded as CAOS Musical Productions, while still honouring our roots with occasional performances of classic operettas. In June 2011, we celebrated our 100th anniversary by staging a traditional yet modernised version of ‘The Pirates of Penzance’ as a tribute to our ancestors.

We rehearse Tuesday and Friday evenings in Chichester usually from 7:30-10pm .
